Plant-Based Cooking & Seasonal Salad Workshop with Botanical Fare

About the Class:
Join Chef Ryan Becklund, restaurateur and owner of Botanical Fare and Bar Botanical, Charlottesville and Crozet’s popular vegan restaurants, for a hands-on exploration of plant-based cooking. The class will begin with an in-depth discussion on vegan diets and plant-centric meals and conclude with the creation of two seasonal salads and dressings. The class will focus on utilizing locally sourced and seasonal ingredients, combining flavors for unique (and crowd pleasing) dishes, and creating salad dressings that complement seasonal vegetables and taste-buds alike!
Together with Ryan, participants will create two different seasonal salads and two salad dressings, one to complement each of the salads. Participants will take home their two salads (serving size: two meal size portions or four first course portions) and their two bottled dressings for later enjoyment.
This class is ideal for all skill levels!
