Rice Bowl

This flat-bottomed porcelain rice bowl was inspired by a traditional Korean dinner set. We also find it a very useful piece to have alongside your cooktop, along with Mud Australia's medium pebble bowl, to store "go-to” everyday ingredients.

All of Mud Australia's products are handmade in their studio in Sydney, Australia. Slight irregularities in size, glaze, and texture reflect the artisan nature of the product and should be embraced.

CARE:

Our porcelain is food-safe and can, with some care, be used in the oven, microwave, and dishwasher. Sudden changes in temperature (e.g. from freezer to oven) are likely to cause thermal shock, which will damage your porcelain. Always place very hot items onto either wood or cloth.

To avoid glaze scratches, ideally your Mud porcelain will be stored in plate racks or with linen/felt between each item. Please note: Ink, orange, plum, red, slate, wasabi, and yellow porcelain are our premium colours. These items are more complex to make and require more pigment for depth and vibrancy of colour, hence the premium pricing.
