Kids Teaching Kids, A Sewing Workshop

Join us for our Kids Teaching Kids: Sewing Workshop at the Be Just Classroom in Belmont. Local seventh-grader Amy will lead this class wherein participants learn basic, foundational skills for sewing by hand. Participants will then use these skills to craft their own small bag which they will get to bring home with them. All of the necessary materials will be provided.
This class is formatted for kids ages 7-12 years old who are interested in learning basic hand-sewing and crafting skills! When registering, please include your child's name and age in the notes at check out.
About the instructor:
Amy says, "I was given my first sewing machine when I was five, and I immediately fell in love with sewing and other forms of crafting. After that, my birthday gifts were composed of fabric, jewelry kits, yarn, and other crafting supplies. I love making gifts, incorporating sewing into school projects, and sewing at home for fun. I want to share my knowledge with local kids, so they can learn the joys of sewing; a skill that is both fun and useful, for all ages."
