We make all our hot cocoa from the bean! We're one of the only chocolate makers in the world who roast, press and grind our own hot cocoa. This translates into incredible TRUE cacao flavor. We make our delicious hot cocoa from the same premium single origin beans we use to make our chocolate, so each variety has it’s own unique flavor profile.
Most hot cocoa is alkalized, which means it’s washed with a solution of potassium carbonate. This removes most of the natural cacao flavor and also most of the beneficial flavanols. But our cocoa is NEVER alkalized, so you’ll always taste the true flavors of the cacao!
