With the ingredients in this DIY Cyanotype Kit, you can transform watercolor paper into photo paper by making it UV-sensitive. Wherever the sun hits the treated paper, a dark blue color develops, also known as Prussian blue. This way, you can create blue-and-white prints at home. For example, you can print a photo on a sheet, draw on a sheet, or collect objects to place on the treated paper. Briefly expose it to the sun and you'll see the color change! With this kit, you can mix and apply the photo media yourself, enough for approximately 40 A4 sheets. So you can make enough mix to experiment further.
Create blueprints using an analog photographic process discovered in 1842. No darkroom needed, just this kit and some sunlight!
