Stars, Stripes & Summer Bites: Plant-Based BBQ Staples Workshop with Botanical Fare

About the Class:
Join Chef Ryan Becklund, restaurateur and owner of Botanical Fare and Bar Botanical, Charlottesville and Crozet’s popular vegan restaurants, for a hands-on exploration of seasonal plant-based cooking.
The class will begin with an in-depth discussion on vegan diets and plant-centric meals and conclude with the creation of three of Ryan's favorite summer recipes: an herby potato salad, a fresh coleslaw, and a delightful basil corn salad. Finish the class with the perfect summer sweet: black pepper balsamic peaches with cashew cream!
The class will focus on utilizing locally sourced ingredients to make easy-to-prepare items to keep you healthy as we gather with friends and family this summer season.
Participants will take home full portions of the dishes they work to make.
This class is ideal for all skill levels!
