Join us at Be Just for an evening of sharp edges, salty bites, and good company. Led by the talented makers behind Monolith Knives, Zack Worell and Nick Watson, this hands-on class will focus on the essentials of knife care, maintenance, and sharpening, along with insight into the world of knives from people who know them best.
Bring one of your own knives and learn how to keep it in great shape with more confidence at home. Along the way, Zack and Nick will share their perspective on what makes a knife worth using, worth caring for, and worth holding onto. Then we’ll close out the evening with an oyster shucking lesson and demo, where they’ll walk us through the technique, the tools, and the simple pleasure of doing it well.
Enjoy oyster nibbles and sips of wine throughout the evening. Friendly, approachable, and a little bit special, this is a class for curious home cooks, knife lovers, and anyone who enjoys learning something new around the table — equal parts useful, delicious, and fun. This class is for all skill levels.
